Answer
Does Price Protection provide security for apartment communities?
By Price Protection SecurityReviewed TX DPS Lic #B09430601
Short answer
Yes. Apartment communities are where Price Protection began and remain the largest group on its client wall, with communities in Katy, Humble, Tomball, Cypress, Stafford, Richmond, the Heights and Memorial and the management companies that run them. The usual post is courtesy patrol in the evening and overnight, with gate, pool and amenity coverage where the property needs it and a report to the manager every morning.

The communities and companies on the wall
Park Lakes in Humble, Tomball Ranch Apartments, SYNC at Kingsland Ranch in Katy, The Keegan Mission Glen in Richmond, Sommerall Station in Cypress, The Retreat at Stafford, Timbergrove Station in the Heights, AUXO at Memorial and Villas at Bunker Hill, together with REMY on the Trails, Milano, 1879 and The Mill, and the management companies RPM, GVA, Greystar, The Larchmont Group and SYNC Residential among others. The clients page lists them by type and area. Nothing on this site describes what happens at any named property.
What an apartment post looks like
An unarmed officer in the evening and overnight, seven nights a week, walking the buildings and amenities and driving the lots on varied routes, closing the pool and the clubhouse at the posted hour, answering a courtesy line residents can call, checking gates and secured doors on every round, enforcing the community’s noise, guest and parking policies as the post orders state them, and writing a report the manager reads before the office opens. Gated communities add a gate post; towers add a lobby desk; large properties add a second officer on weekend nights.
Property types with their own pages
Garden-style communities, high-rises, luxury and lease-up communities, student housing, senior living, affordable housing, build-to-rent, corporate housing, manufactured home communities, and the parts of a community that get their own post: the pool, the parking garage, the package room, the leasing office and resident events. The multifamily hub lists them all, and each page describes the risks, the post, a typical shift and the report for that property type.
Starting coverage at a community
Dispatch takes the address, the number of units and buildings, the hours and the problems the community is having, and a supervisor walks the property with the manager. Unarmed coverage can typically begin within hours when a community needs it quickly. The courtesy patrol page explains the post in detail.
Management companies with several properties
Several management companies on the client wall run posts at more than one community. They get consistent post orders across their properties, one point of contact at dispatch and reports that can be compared property to property at the regional level.
