What is the Houston Apartment Association?

What the association does

It brings the Houston multifamily industry together: owners, management companies, on-site teams and the suppliers they buy from. Members get education for property staff, industry events and networking, advocacy on legislation and local rules that affect apartment operations, market information, and a directory of supplier members that managers use when they need a vendor. Security companies join as supplier members, and a manager looking for one can find Price Protection in the directory.

Why it matters to Price Protection

Apartment communities are where the company began and remain the largest group on its client wall. Membership keeps the company close to the people who run those communities and to the issues they deal with, from package theft and pool rules to the way courtesy patrol is bought and reviewed. What membership does not mean

It is not a license, a certification or an endorsement of the company’s work. The state license and the daily report are the evidence of those. Membership means the company is part of the industry it serves and can be found there.
