Who founded Price Protection?

The founding

The company started, in the founder’s words, as the heartfelt dream of a young man who grew up in challenging circumstances, surrounded by the harsh realities of crime in his neighborhood, with a vision of a brighter and safer community for everyone. It was established in 2019 to provide armed security, licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety under company license B09430601, and headquartered at 77 Sugar Creek Center Boulevard in Sugar Land.

The founder

The founder and chief executive came to security work as a former professional athlete and a security guard, and the company’s approach reflects that path: discipline, teamwork and daily measurement of performance. The founder’s message to clients, and a photograph, are on the About page, which is the one place on this site where the founder appears by name. Everywhere else, the company speaks as a company.

What the founding shaped

The three values, unity, integrity and consistency, come from the founding and are described on the values page. The commitment to reviewing and documenting officer performance every day, and to sending every client a written report every day, is how those values became practice. The company’s early work with apartment communities and congregations, still the core of its client wall, came from the same purpose: safer places for the people who live and gather in them.

The company today

Armed guards, unarmed guards and fire watch for residential communities, construction sites, retail and commercial property, healthcare facilities, churches and schools, venues, warehouses and vacant property across Greater Houston, with a client wall of twenty-five names.
