How the region is covered

Officers are assigned to sides of the region and work the posts on their side: the west with Katy, the Energy Corridor, Westchase and Alief; the north with Spring, The Woodlands, Conroe, Tomball and Humble; inside the loop with Downtown, Midtown, the Heights, the Medical Center, Uptown and Memorial; the south with Pearland, Missouri City, Stafford and the Bay Area; the east with Pasadena and Baytown. Dispatch is one number for all of it, 24 hours a day, and a supervisor drives out for the walk-through and the monthly review wherever the property is.

What distance changes

For a scheduled post, nothing: the walk-through happens before the first shift and the officers are already on that side. For an emergency start, the drive from the nearest officers matters, which is why each area page states the drive from Sugar Land honestly. Unarmed guards can typically arrive at most sites within hours anywhere in the home market.

Beyond the home market

Price Protection serves clients across Texas, from pipeline and solar projects to management companies with properties in other cities. Coverage for an address outside Greater Houston is confirmed by dispatch on the call, with the post staffed from the nearest officers or, for a project, with officers assigned to it. A project outside the region gets a supervisor visit and the same daily report as a post in Sugar Land.
